Ofcom has a duty to provide guidance for communications providers about how we will exercise our functions to seek to ensure they comply with their duties under the security framework brought in by the Telecommunications Security Act. We are consulting on proposals to make updates to our guidance and are seeking input from the sector on the implications of these changes.
